GD Foundry is our own platform where we can share our passion for typefaces and typography with our peers. The whole project is built upon one unifying principle: Simplicity. Simplicity when it comes to the visual expression, where we striped down the visual language down to its essential components: type, grid, and proportion. Highlighting the craftsmanship of every typeface, without obscuring it with frivolous design elements or overly complicated layouts. Simplicity when it comes to the typography itself, where at its core sits a uniwidth type system where every character retains the same width across all weights, ensuring stability at every scale.

And of course, simplicity when it comes to how we structure our licensing, with only one license. Web, App, Desktop – all in one. Priced by company size, not by how many people click a button. No visitor math. No logo police. No nonsense.
